After virtual PhD graduation ceremony due to Covid-19, doctoral students this year at IOP were once again able to receive their graduation certificates live on stage.
The PhD defense and celebration was held for Chuong Thanh Nguyen, in the morning from 10:00 A.M., on 20.06.2022. Invitees either participated in person at the room A501, Appelstr. 11A, or joined the event by Zoom Online Meeting.

A successful doctoral thesis is the crowning achievement of an outstanding performance in research. It is also testimony to the hard work, discipline, and perseverance shown by the author over the past years. Chuong’s doctoral studies focus on “Inverse Design of Metamaterials via Topology Optimization”.
