We are glad to announce that the monographs authored by our institute members Huilong Ren and Xiaoying Zhuang entitled "Computational Methods based on Peridynamics and Nonlocal Operators" have been published by Springer International Publisher. Dr. Huilong Ren completed his Ph.D. thesis on peridynamics and nonlocal operators and has been collaborating with Prof. Zhuang in this direction for years.

Dr. Huilong Ren completed his Ph.D. thesis on peridynamics and nonlocal operators and has been collaborating with Prof. Zhuang in this direction for years.
This book features:
1. Variational-consistent inhomogeneous support regions and particle sizes in particle-based methods such as PD and SPH.
2. The unified derivation of nonlocal models by the energy form and weak form of local models.
3. Several nonlocal methods equipped with variational principle and weighted residual method.
4. Several nonlocal methods for solving partial differential equations from different fields.
